Travel

Texas STEM does not have a designated conference hotel, so you will be free to arrange your accommodations at any of the many hotels in the Austin area.  Consider staying an extra night or two to enjoy our renowned nightlife, food, and attractions.  If you're not familiar with Austin, the UT campus is about one mile north of the State Capitol on Congress Avenue, which is in turn about one mile north of Lady Bird Lake.  Downtown is very walkable and bustling in the evenings.
